Description

LADDERSSiemens Simatic S5 extends the LADDERS • Generic PLC package to support documenting, editing, cross referencing and printing Siemens S5 Programmable Controller logic. Some general features of the LADDERS • Siemens S5 package include the ability to compare program files, maintain documentation using reports of missing and unused labels and the support of a wide variety of output devices supporting many paper sizes, print types and page formats. Some of the engineering tools available include cut-and-paste between rungs, the ability to copy groups of rungs, the utilization of typical circuits complete with customized annotations, vendor-to-vendor / model-to-model program conversions, and the use of macros and macro libraries.  The Simatic S5 package also supports Statement Language (STL) and dynamically switching between it and Ladder Diagram (LAD) mode.
