Documentation services for the OEM provides initial document creation using the LADDERS software. Maintenance service for end users provides on-going program documentation and logic updates.

 

 

Description

OEM PLC Documentation Service. This service provides for the creation of LADDERS PLC documentation using MicroCODE facilities and personnel.  Files are prduced in OpenVMS format.   The customer provides a PLC logic file, a documentation file and any necessary I/O wiring diagrams. 

An OEM program is also offered to service the needs of an OEM during a start-up situation.  This program offers the following features:

Initial transcription service

bullet

Program compares during debug and start-up

bullet

Files maintained during length of contract

bullet

Updated printouts as required

 

End  User Maintenance PLC Documentation Service. This service provides for the maintenance of LADDERS PLC program files.   The initial contract per PLC program includes the following features (if required):

bullet

Transfer of PDP-11 LADDERS file from PDP-11 media to VAX/Alpha media

bullet

Conversion of the PDP-11 file from PDP-11 format to VAX/Alpha format

bullet

In the absence of an exisiting PDP-11 file, the creation of a new LADDERS document file using external files supplied by the customer

bullet

Storage of the LADDERS file on a MicroCODE computer for maintenance purposes for a one (1) year period and on tape for a four (4) year period. Off-site storage of all files is also provided for the entire five (5) year period.

Actual maintenance of the programs is performed at the customers request, some of the tasks normally requested include:

Logic updates and Program Compre Report generation

bullet

Report generation (Missing/Unused Label Listings etc.)

bullet

Text entry by either importing labels/comments from external files or by the manual entry

bullet

Printing job books

bullet

File transfers via modem
