The MicroCODE products wordmarks and titles are set in Microma (Eurostile) 800 weight.

  • Do use LADDERS Blue alongside grayscale or neutral colors.
  • Do prefer the P3 wide gamut color over RGB in digital; the PMS spot color over CMYK process in print.
  • Do use Libre+Franklin with optical kerning and standard letter spacing.
  • Don't use LADDERS Blue for large background areas.
  • Don't directly combine LADDERS Blue with other bright or saturated colors.
  • Don't bold, italicize, or alter the letter spacing of the MicroCODE wordmark.

MicroCODE Logo & Microblock

Our logomark is called the "microblock". The MicroCODE logo is composed of the symbol for 'micro' (µ / Alt-0181) set inside a solid black block, the shape of the 'µ' is taken the 'm' in our original corporate logo, upside-down.

  • Do prefer the 'microblock' logo, but use the symbol + work-mark or original logo at larger sizes.
  • Do use the provided assets, don't redraw the microblock.
  • Don't rotate or stretch the microblock.
  • Don't remove or add any elements within the microblock, or combine with another logo.
  • Don't decorate or add effects to any part of the logo.
  • Don't resize or reposition elements of the microblock.
  • Don't resize or reposition the wordmark relative to the microblock.
  • Don't change the typeface of the wordmark.

Spacing

Give the logo some space to breathe. Keep a clear space of at least half the height of the microblock along on all sides.

Color use

The MicroCODE logo should appear in LADDERS Blue, white, or black. It may appear on any color background with the appropriate logo color.

  • Do prefer a BLACK 'microblock' on a white background, our default color combination.
  • Do otherwise prefer use of the white logo on most backgrounds unless contrast requires use of black.
  • Do use tasteful combinations of our original logo and the new 'microblock' as appropriate.
  • Don't use different colors or apply gradients to the logo.
  • Don't use different colors for elements of the logo. Always use the same color for the microblock and wordmark.
