When the New York Yacht Club's American Magic America's Cup campaign needed state-of-the art carbon-fiber masts and booms cured to exacting tolerances... they turned to Offshore Spars in Clinton Twp, MI. And Offshore Spars turned to MicroCODE to build them a new Autoclave Control System capable of collecting data from 28-thermocouples, 4-Vacuum Sensors, and internal Oven Pressure, every minute of every hour for 18-hour long 'cooks'.
Part of the American Magic Team was from New Zeland, making Metric Units a must. Offshores Spars is in the USA, making English/Imperial Units the local standard. Solution? Dynamic Units switching across the application and in all logged data. This allowed the current user to see what they expected in an instance. The best compliment we got was from an Operator who said: "Is this really showing me what I think its showing me?" - Why yes it is, in real-time.
